A former dinghy racer on the River Alde, Leo Lerner is currently a research fellow at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, investigating the role of expertise and place attachment in health and social research. Prior to this he read Geography at Lancaster University and Nature, Society, and Environmental Governance at the University of Oxford. He is a keen geographer and maintains a steadfast connection to the Suffolk coast.
